It's 2019 and traveling is no longer a gated community. It is accessible to most of us, depending on our budgets and passports, and the biggest difference is awareness to not be disrespectful of cultures or dehumanizing indigenous peoples.
I plan to document my travels here. It will be wordy, it won't be picture perfect and it won't always include details on financial costs, the pains
of planning, the joys of interacting with locals, and learning new cultures. However, I will try to be as honest as possible as I share the
thrill of countless adventures.
At this time, I also don't intend on promoting this blog so if you've found it... Mar7ba!
That said, I keep getting asked about suggestions on things to do and financial costs for travel so this blog will hopefully provide enough information to
help others have an even better time than I have had in these places. Otherwise, it will help me
remember a life well lived when I'm old and frail.
